USDA and ChopChop Curriculum Collaboration

Wrote curriculum for the United States Department of Agriculture: 5 unique afterschool cooking lessons with supplemental videos.
Curriculum will be promoted by USDA and used nationwide in afterschool programs.
Wrote curriculum for pilots in Boys and Girls Club in Worcester, MA, and New Bedford, MA.
Kids Food Festival Presentation
Wrote script for March 2015 NYC Kids Food Festival for presenters Gail Simmons (of Top Chef and Food and Wine Magazine), Bill Yosses (former White House pastry chef) and Sally Sampson (founder of ChopChop Magazine)
New York Times Travel Show Presentation
Wrote script for ChopChop's presentation at The New York Times Food Festival focusing on foods to prepare and eat on the go
New Balance Spark Start RunDisney Presentation
Worked with New Balance to promote healthy eating and hydration for fueling a family’s active lifestyle by creating a replicable presentation and supplemental materials to be used for future events
Created 30 minutes on-stage demo for New Balance Spark Start and Disney to engage families at New Balance’s RunDisney race at Disney World, Florida and presented the final product on stage at RunDisney

Wrote script for presentation during Boston's Let's Talk About Food Festival focused on different ways to make hummus
ChopChop Cooking Lab Curriciulum Design
January 2014-July 2014
Created original cooking and nutrition curriculum based on ChopChop Magazine for a week-long pilot program sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
Curriculum was taught by Bill Yosses (former White House Pastry Chef) and Sally Sampson (founder of ChopChop) in two different host sites: Boys and Girls Club in Worcester, MA, and Dorchester, MA

Hired through Harvard University as the project coordinator to help plan a co-sponsored two-week summer pilot cooking, science and fitness program “ChopChop Kids Science and Cooking at Harvard.”
Responsible for recruiting and scheduling visiting “experts” including fitness and food experts for the afternoon sessions as well as volunteer counselors
